Breathe energy and feel freedom in your heart
As you practice asanas, it is essential that you breathe and feel.
Through breathing, you will get new energy and eliminate dormant tensions and energies. Practice breathing, meditative awareness, and sensitivity so you can get the most from dancing.
When you dance, you use breathing as a means to ignite your inner spirit. Just as air fuels fire, conscious breathing fuels your spirit.
Breathing brings you into the present moment without letting your mind interfere with thoughts or future worry; that is why it is an important element in our relationship with the eternal.
Tips for dancing
1. Breathe consciously.
2. Disconnect the mind.
3. Set your entire body free, especially the pelvis, neck, and head.
4. Get your whole being involved in the dance.
5. Feel the kundalini and elevate it.
6. Be open to experiencing the divine.
7. Let movement take you to the stillness and let music transport you into silence.
